Savage Hart expanded operations to Columbus, Georgia in early 2019. From spearheading local butterfly conservation research to rescuing and rehabilitating hundreds of wild animals annually, we believe that all creatures, both large and small, are worth saving.
Founded in 2015, Savage Hart works to protect wild animals and their natural environments, and wildlife rehabilitation, the practice of treating sick, injured, and orphaned wild animals before returning them to the wild, lies at the heart of what we do. As the only state-licensed wildlife rehabilitation facility in Columbus, a bustling city with a blend of urban and natural environments, we have our work cut out for them: where humans and wildlife meet, conflict inevitably arises.
